We chose this distance to bring high-intensity, nail-biting excitement to Bangladesh and to help develop runners who are faster, more tactical, and ready for international competition.
An “Invitational” means that the core race is designed for top-tier talent. Instead of an open crowd, athletes are selected based on qualifying times and past performances. This ensures a highly competitive field where the best runners in the nation push each other to break records.
